NuktaArt - Pakistan’s Contemporary Art Magazine - addresses issues of transformation and context in a multi-faceted print discourse sans boundaries.     

 

Since it was founded in 2005, NuktaArt has successfully projected Pakistan’s art scene  while establishing an interface with international art and artists in essays, interviews and exhibition reviews. Its special focus includes the shared history of art within the region, the Diasporic art space and emerging marginal discourses that simultaneously reflect local and universal concerns. 

 

As NuktaArt draws readers into a stimulating dialogue on the visual arts, it attempts to provide the missing links between art practice and art perception in countries like Pakistan that lack an established tradition of critical writing.
