I entered the field of art doing conceptual (and often psychedelic) illustrations based on rock music, but as my work evolved I felt restricted by one subject. I start painting images with an empty mind, like a blank canvas. It's quite exciting and unpredictable, where anything can happen as opposed to a preconceived idea forming the base of an illustration.
I enjoy the interplay of different motifs and the juxtaposition of negative and positive shapes usually on a surreal or fantastic plane. It gives me the freedom to paint and draw whatever I want.
